Money in the Bank (MITB), one of WWE’s iconic premium live events, will take place in Ontario on Saturday, July 6. This will be the first time that MITB is held in Canada. The winners can challenge any champion at any location by cashing in their MITB briefcase. 2005 saw the inaugural briefcase ladder match take place at WrestleMania 21. Thirty male and female superstars have held the briefcase as of July 5, 2024.
The 15th edition of WWE MITB will see 12 superstars compete for the briefcase this weekend. The men’s match will feature stars including Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Chad Gable, LA Knight and Drew McIntyre. Whereas, the women’s match-up will witness Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi and Zoey Stark compete.

A couple of championship matches will also be included in the next WWE premium live event. Sami Zayn, the current Intercontinental Title holder, will face Bron Breakker. against the other hand, LA Knight will take against Seth Rollins to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The former member of the Shield would no longer be eligible to defend the title if Knight wins it. Knight will be forced to permanently abandon the Judgement Day faction if Rollins wins the title.
Later on the night, Universal Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with Randy Orton and Kevins Owens to face The Bloodline in a six-man tag-team match.
