In the main event of WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024 in India, Cody Rhodes triumphed against Logan Paul to reclaim the WWE Undisputed Championship.
WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024 highlights: WWE hosted yet another sold-out PLE (Premier Live Event) from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in the form of WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024. The event’s first match took place on the kickoff show, where the Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Blair and Jade Cargill defeated Candice LeRea and Indi Hartwell to retain their titles. However, the main show started with another title match in a controversial finish of the match between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World title. Liv Morgan ultimately pinned Becky Lynch to complete her revenge tour and win the WWE Women’s World title, thanks to Dominik Mysterio’s interference.
In the triple threat match for the Intercontinental title match, Sami Zayn pinned Bronson Reed to win and retain his title after a conflicted Otis took down Chad Gable by accident outside the ring. In the Queen of the Ring finals, Nia puts down Lyra Valkyria to become the new WWE Queen of the Ring winner and earn a title shot at the WWE Undisputed Women’s title at Summerslam. On the other hand, Gunther defeated Randy Orton in a hard-fought battle to be crowned the King of the Ring winner. Finally, in the night’s main event, Cody Rhodes defeated Logan Paul despite the latter using brass knuckles to retain his WWE Undisputed Championship title.
