UGC-NET Exam 2024: UGC NET 2024 Exam Cancelled, Check Latest Update!

UGC NET EXAM 2024: Because of a paper leak, the UGC NET test 2024 that was supposed to take place on June 18 has been canceled. This test, the UGC NET, is also run by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Soon, new test times will be released. The CBI is now in charge of looking into the case.

In two shifts on June 18, the UGC NET test was given

The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the UGC-NET June 2024 test on June 18, 2024, in two shifts across different cities of the country. The exam was in OMR (pen and paper) mode. The University Grants Commission (UGC) heard from the Ministry of Home Affairs on June 19, 2024, about the paper leak in the test. Because of this, the evaluation was canceled.

In order to make the UGC NET exam process as clear as possible, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has chosen to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 exam. Now there will be a new test, and the information for that test will be given individually. The case has been given to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to look into.

Officials from the government say they will protect the students' rights and make sure the exams are fair. Following the cancellation of the exam, the government has made it clear that anyone or any group found to be involved in this matter will face harsh punishment.

The UGC NET test, which had to be canceled because of concerns about potential paper leaks, ended on Tuesday, June 18. Although 11,21,225 students signed up for this test, only 9,08,580 actually showed up. This UGC NET exam’s first shift was simple, but it took a long time.

The candidates took the test on paper worksheets

On June 18, the UGC NET test for the June session was given in OMR (pencil-and-paper) format. On this occasion, the UGC NET exam for 83 courses was given in two shifts on the original day. The first shift went from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift went from 3 pm to 6 pm.
