The first child of Bollywood stars Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal is a baby girl. On July 18, they posted the joyful news on social media.
On July 16, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed a newborn daughter into their family. Together, the pair released a statement on Thursday, July 18. In February, Richa made her pregnancy public.

There was much joy as Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed a newborn daughter into their family. “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24!” the statement said. We thank everyone who has sent love and blessings; our families are ecstatic! With love, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha.”
Richa had previously posted on Instagram on July 14, anticipating the arrival of the child. She admitted that although she occasionally feels lonely, she never feels alone. She continued by saying that she constantly gets the impression that someone is listening in.
Richa and Ali got married under the Special Marriage Act in 2020. They celebrated their union in 2022.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Richa was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar’, where she played the character of Lajjo. The epic drama is currently streaming on Netflix.
Ali Fazal’s last screen outing was ‘Mirzapur 3’, where he reprised the role of Guddu Pandit. It premiered on Prime Video on July 5.
