“From the three options given to him,” the Rae Bareli MP selected his place of abode, News 18 said, citing sources. It further stated that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the sister of Rahul Gandhi, was recently spotted in the Sunehri Bagh property.

Rahul Gandhi was forced to vacate his mansion at 12 Tughlak Lane following his disqualification from the Lok Sabha due to a defamation case in 2019.

In a defamation case involving his 2019 comment regarding the “Modi surname,” Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in prison by a Surat court on March 23 of last year.

Gandhi immediately moved into his mother Sonia Gandhi’s 10, Janpath home, and he has been there ever since his disqualification was overturned.

News 18 was informed by sources that the five-time MP was first given the choice to keep that bungalow. The report also stated that Congress chose to change, giving the rationale that it was “not good Vastu, which makes it inauspicious.”
