“Deeply concerned by the attack on my friend, former President Donald Trump,” PM Modi remarked in response to “X.” Condemn the incident with conviction. Democracies and politics are not places for violence. I hope he heals quickly.
In addition, the prime minister offered his sympathies for the deaths that occurred during the Pennsylvania demonstration. He continued, “Our prayers and thoughts are with the families of the deceased, the injured, and the people of the United States.”

According to CBS News, the gunshot incident happened months before the US presidential elections of 2024 and interfered with Trump’s rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. US Secret Service personnel quickly removed Trump off the stage and into a limousine.
Trump was shown with blood coming from his ear in the social media videos. According to CNN, one of the witnesses also passed away from gunshot wounds.
In his first account of being shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania, former US President Donald Trump said that the bullet fired at him “pierced” the upper part of his right ear. Trump stated that he immediately knew something was wrong. He also thanked the US Secret Service and law enforcement for their rapid response to the shooting. He offered condolences to the family of the person who was killed at the rally and to the person who was injured.
According to a statement released by the US Secret Service, at approximately 6:15 p.m. (local time) on July 13, during Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, a suspected shooter fired numerous bullets towards the stage from an elevated position outside the rally venue. The gunman was neutralised by US Secret Service agents, and he is now deceased. The event is being looked into after one spectator died and another suffered serious injuries, according to the statement.
Prominent political figures have also denounced the event, including former President Barack Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, and President Joe Biden.
