Following the tragic deaths of three UPSC candidates in the basement of an IAS coaching institution in the Old Rajinder Nagar neighborhood due to floods, a well-known educator and owner of Drishti IAS, Vikas Divyakirti, has now spoken out about the matter. Divyakirti clarified that he did not want to comment because of the inadequate facts. Students, including Avadh Ojha and Vikas Divyakirti, have expressed disappointment over the recent unfortunate incident and the top teachers’ silence regarding it.
He released a statement saying, “We apologize for the delay in sharing our perspective. We did not want to make any statements based on insufficient knowledge. We genuinely apologize for the wait.”

“The students’ outrage over this mishap is entirely understandable,” it continued. It would be appropriate if the government released specific regulations for teaching facilities and this rage was properly directed. We are prepared to actively collaborate with the administration in this area.”
