NASA’s Starliner Update: Sunita Williams’ Return Hopes Diminish!

Regarding the potential for American scientists who are stranded in space to return to Earth, NASA has released a significant statement. A few weeks ago, numerous scientists were sent to the space station aboard the US Starliner spaceship. This also includes Sunita Williams, who is Indian in origin.

Washington: A spacecraft breakdown has left a team of US astronauts on a special mission to the space station stuck there. Sunita Williams, an Indian, is another one of the astronauts. Regarding the likelihood of Sunita Williams’ return following the Starliner capsule malfunction, NASA released a major statement. Let us inform you that NASA, the space agency, has announced that it will be extending the stay of its two astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) in order to address issues that arose during their mission there with Boeing’s new spacecraft.

NASA did not give any date for the return of the astronauts on Friday and said that they are safe. NASA’s Commercial Crew Program Manager Steve Stich said, “We are in no hurry to return.” NASA’s experienced test pilots Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore left for the orbiting laboratory in space on June 5 via Boeing’s Starliner. Boeing’s ‘Crew Flight Test Mission’ carrying Williams and Butch Wilmore took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida after years of delays and failures.

Sunita had to return to earth after 1 week

Williams and Wilmore were expected to be in space for about a week, enough time to check out the capsule, but problems with the capsule’s propulsion system, used to power the spacecraft, forced NASA and Boeing to postpone their return plans several times, raising concerns about their safe return to Earth.
