Due to a rise in drowning incidents in Mumbai, Juhu Beach was closed to the general public. On Monday, the bodies of the three young boys who vanished in Mumbai after going into the Marve Creek were discovered.

Lifeguards patrol Juhu Beach to keep visitors away from the sea during the high tide. Heavy showers lashed Mahalakshmi, Byculla, Malabar Hill, Matunga, Sion, Bandra, Santacruz, Andheri, and some other areas early in the morning.
