This company of Mukesh Ambani made sales worth Rs 400 Crore in a year by selling…

The Indian company Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), which was started by Mukesh Ambani, who is the richest person in Asia, did very well in its first year. The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company owned by Reliance Industries made Rs 3,000 crore in sales in its first full year of business. The sales of Campa Cola made up 400 crore of the company’s total sales in the fiscal year 2024.

Emami’s earnings reached Rs 3,400 crore after fifty years. During the last fiscal year, the business hit this important point. In the same way, Colgate-Palmolive (India), a huge company in the toothpaste business, made Rs 5,226 crore in sales in the fiscal year 2024. It’s been in business for eighty years. That’s proof of how quickly RCPL has grown its business.

It’s still too early for listed FMCG companies to share their fiscal year 2024 results. RCPL started doing business for real on November 30, 2022. The company, which owns names like Independence and Campa Cola, wants to boost sales by selling more food and drinks. Due to problems with supply, the company plans to build a bottling plant for Campa Cola to make more of the drink. This fiscal year, it can get 500 to 700 crore from its parent business. Reliance Retail Ventures is the parent company of RCPL.

It is also the parent company of the Reliance Group’s shopping business. A source says that RCPL plans to put the new bottling plant in a place that makes it easy for the company to serve stores all over the country.

In the fiscal year 2024, he said that sales at more than 200,000 Kirana shops will bring in ₹1,000 crore for Reliance Consumer Products. These shops buy the goods that the company sells. The business wants to make ₹5,000 crore in sales in the fiscal year 2025.

A lot of money will be put into RCPL by the big business this year. Not yet known, but this amount could be anywhere from 500 crore to 700 crore. It is planned for the company to open its bottling plant. This is because its first plan, which called for working together with other bottlers, didn’t work out. In 2022, Reliance bought the Campa brand, which was no longer being made, for about ₹22 crore.

Andhra Pradesh, which has the biggest Cola market in the country, has Campa Cola on hand right now, but regular supply isn’t promised across the country because of supply problems.
