iOS 18 release date and compatible devices

Immediately following the announcement at WWDC, a developer beta version of the iOS 18 was released, offering early access to the latest features for developers. A more stable and bug-free public beta is expected to be available in the coming weeks. For the general public, iOS 18 will officially roll out in September 2024, coinciding with the launch of the new iPhone 16 lineup.

Talking about the devices that will get the iOS 18, the operating system’s new AI-powered features, particularly the advanced Siri capabilities, are only available on newer devices with the A17 Pro chip or later. This includes the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, along with the forthcoming iPhone 16 series. However, other enhancements and upgrades will be available across all iOS 18-compatible devices.

iOS 18 upcoming features
