Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh will soon be seen on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. He shared the update on social media.
Diljit Dosanjh is adding another milestone to his remarkable record in the music industry. The actor-singer is continually promoting Punjabi music on global platforms, and he will now appear as a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s popular show The Tonight Show.

In a fresh Instagram post on Wednesday, Diljit announced the announcement with a slew of photographs and said, “PANJABI AAGYE OYEE.” This Week’s Guests.” One of the photos displayed the popular show’s guest list for the week, which included famed performers Eddie Murphy, Kevin Costner, and Matty Matheson from The Bear.
Diljit isn’t new to making history. In April, the singer set a new record at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium by being the first Punjabi musician to perform there as part of the Dil-Luminati tour. He also uploaded photos from the crowded event on Instagram with the description, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN (writing emoji) BC PLACE STADIUM (building emoji) SOLD OUT (face with goggles emoji) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR (monster emoji).”
Diljit made history as the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella last year, attracting a large audience. His announcement of his entrance on stage with “Punjabi aa gaye Coachella oye” quickly went viral on social media.
Diljit recently appeared in Imtiaz Ali’s musical biography, Amar Singh Chamkila, alongside Parineeti Chopra. He also played a supporting role in Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
He will be next seen in Jatt and Juliet 3. The trailer of the film was released on June 11. Also starring Neeru Bajwa, it will hit the screens on June 27.
