Politicians in India lack credibility because of the Congress and AAP: Rajnath
Senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slammed Congress and A, partners in the opposition INDIA alliance, on Thursday, claiming they are to blame for the lack of credibility in Indian politics.
Shortly before the May 25 polling cycle came to a close, Singh spoke at an election rally in support of Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the BJP’s nominee for the West Delhi Lok Sabha seat.
He stated, “The leaders of the Congress and the A have contributed the most to the crisis of credibility in the politics of India.” Congress and A are running in the general elections in the nation’s capital under a seat-sharing arrangement.
The Congress has fielded candidates from three seats, while the A is running for four seats. The sixth round of the seven-phase general elections will see elections for Delhi’s seven Lok Sabha seats.
Singh made fun of Delhi Chief Minister and A supremo Arvind Kejriwal for holding onto his job after being detained and imprisoned in relation to a money laundering case involving the Delhi excise policy, saying, “I have heard about work from office and work from home.” This place’s top minister has performed amazing job while incarcerated.”
On May 10, Kejriwal was granted temporary freedom from custody by the Supreme Court. He must turn himself in by June 2.
Singh cited the alleged attack on Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal and called it a “heart rending” occurrence; however, Kejriwal has since claimed that police are looking into the matter after remaining silent for a while.

“A person who witnessed a woman being beaten up in his home claims that an investigation is ongoing. These folks are cowards. According to Singh, a bold person is one who is willing to take responsibility for their actions after admitting they made a mistake.
“Political parties such as the A have to be eliminated from the nation. The minister declared, “They have no moral right to continue in politics.”
Singh claimed that in the last eight years, the nation’s economy has grown from being the eleventh largest to the fifth largest under the Narendra Modi administration.
“Reputable financial institutions assert that India’s economy is expanding at the quickest rate. Its current rate of growth will make it the world’s third-largest economy, he predicted.
Singh further declared his unwavering faith that India will have the “richest economy” in the world by 2070.
He added that India wanted to become a global superpower. But we don’t want to grow into a superpower that can attack any nation and seize even a little portion of its territory. We hope this will benefit everyone on the planet,” the BJP leader declared.
With the removal of Article 370, the outlawing of triple talaq, and the establishment of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Singh argued that the BJP actually follows through on its promises.
