Carlos Alcaraz Beats Novak Djokovic In Wimbledon Final Viral!

Abse Tennis Pe Ek Hi Raj Karega…: Sachin Tendulkar’s Tweet; Tendulkar took to X to congratulate the 21-year-old Spanish tennis player who defeated Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 in the Wimbledon 2024 men’s singles final.

The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets (6-2, 6-2, 7-6) on Sunday, July 14, to win the Wimbledon 2024 men’s singles final. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Alcaraz on his victory via X (previously Twitter). The 21-year-old had already beaten Djoker in the previous year’s Wimbledon final.

Alcaraz demonstrated why he is regarded as tennis’s next big star in the most lopsided men’s singles championship match in memory. He became the sixth male tennis player in history to win both the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year with his victory in the Sunday final.

Tendulkar went to X to tweet in support of the teenage sensation Alcaraz following his victorious Wimbledon championship defence: “Abse tennis pe ek hi raj karega, who hai Alcaraz.” Beating a top-tier opponent in the @Wimbledon finals in straight sets is no laughing matter. With that level of energy, placement, strength, and quickness, it appears that @carlosalcaraz will have the upper hand in the future. Congratulations to @DjokerNole for his poise and demeanour in both wins and losses. That, in my opinion, is what makes a true sportsperson.

Alcaraz equals the Open Era record for most Grand Slams won at the age of 21 or under, joining Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg, and Mats Wilander. Apart from two Wimbledon titles, he has won one French Open and one US Open title.

The Spaniard remarked, “To be honest, winning this trophy is a dream come true for me.” When I was eleven years old, I stated in an interview that my dream was to win Wimbledon. This competition, the court, and the prize are all the most exquisite in my opinion.

Alcaraz, who captured his second Wimbledon championship, paid homage to Djokovic, who struggled to find his game until the third set.

“Djokovic is an unbelievable fighter; I knew he was going to have his chances. It was difficult, but I tried to stay calm going into the tiebreak and tried to play my best tennis. I was glad at the end I could find the solutions.”
